Presidential Message 2022-2024

At the beginning of my term as President of our beautiful association and the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, I would like to share my Presidential message with you.

My predecessors and the board members have done a lot of work and have already made VSAI’s name strong in the speaker market. The first steps have been taken and we continue strongly to strengthen the position of individual speakers who are members of our group.

As you have understood, we are strengthening the structure. In addition to a Presidential Leadership Team, we now also have board members who chair a Taskforce. that sounds solid and it is. A lot is being organized and we want to streamline that further because we are all volunteers.

Fortunately, we have a number of volunteers who put their shoulders under the tasks that we have to do to keep our association strong and to make it further. Of course you are always welcome if you want to participate in our activities, such as Education, Membership, Marketing & Communication and new chapters. We will soon publish all information about this on Facebook and the website. So please, sign up if you want to support us and yourself.

Our goal remains to be open arms for the orphaned speakers in those countries where there is no country association or an association that is not yet big enough to become a direct member of the Global Speakers Federation. We will continue to launch campaigns based on the conviction that everyone deserves an equal chance, whoever you are and wherever you come from. For us, inclusivity and diversity are non-negotiable for us as a society.

We also have great news: on July 5, the GSF board accepted our proposal to host the Global Speakers Summit in 2024. This means that GSF and VSAI will organize the GSS2024 in Bali, Indonesia from September 25 to 29, 2024

We will soon inform you about this via a personal email with an offer not to be missed. If you register for it, you will also have the opportunity to apply for a speaker slot. So keep an eye on your mail in the coming week. Our offer is valid until September 1, 2022.

For now I wish you a good time with hard work or with a view to a nice holiday. Stay healthy, keep an eye on our work and above all let’s work for our common interest.
